More and more employees feel disconnected from their jobs—so much so that Gallup has named this trend the “Great Detachment.” And with hiring freezes and layoffs limiting options, many are feeling more stuck than ever.
In fact, their latest State of the Global Workplace report, found that U.S. employee engagement has dropped to a 10-year low, with only 31% feeling engaged at work and 17% actively disengaged.
💡 But what if our organizations were designed to cultivate engagement rather than drain it?
Research shows that when organizations thrive, employees are more engaged—leading to better work, stronger financial performance, and healthier teams.
The challenge is knowing how to monitor what’s happening in our workplaces and create the right conditions for people to engage, grow, and thrive.
That’s where the With Life Approach comes in. By drawing on patterns from living systems, we can design, manage, and monitor our organizations in ways that truly support the people within them.
For this week’s #WithLifeWednesday, we invite you to observe the patterns within your team and consider the underlying conditions contributing to disengagement, burnout, or high turnover. Observing with curiosity, we can shift from reactive problem-solving to proactive, regenerative design.
Not sure where to start? Join our Community Compass call tomorrow at 10 am ET (New York) to learn more about key resources we have to support you or your team in this discovery process. → RSVP
