Nature: Microbial Earth Farms (MEF)
Stewardship of the community’s natural resources is led by MEF. The job is to design, build and operate advanced green infrastructure.
The team leader is responsible for coordinating teams of consultants, as well as direct reports who ensure the investment and operations of:
Food Forests
Allotment Gardens
32 acres of deep water reservoirs
Regenerative agriculture operations on 240 acres of land, including multi-species intensive grazing activities.
Regenerative soil operations, including value-added compost production and minerals
Garden center and market garden activities such as plant production, value-added food operations.
MEF stewards all the natural resources of the community, including:
the 240+ acres of green infrastructure operated as a master park with 7 miles of trails
the 32 pocket parks and 4 parks within the town,
the community gardens (one per residence),
on-site food production, and more.
